Air bags or not patrol spring perches snap off my mates broke the other day nearly going throu the floor the hardest work it's seen is spot lighting on farms and fire trails I dont think his has even had a trailer on it. My gq is slowly working on putting the front spring throu the perch because it's a rust trap once it goes old Boris the patrol will be off to the tip the body also looks like swiss cheese.

Coming back from Karumba, passed thru Emerald, heading east, uhf on, listening to a group of toyota drivers passing putting **** on the D2, got to the passing lane, blew them away up hill, then settled to a sedate speed and let them pass again, gave them the finger [ brave hey] , then drove on , smiling. I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Back to chassis cracks, when my 1992 D2 was about two years old there was a LR service check recall for cracking. So far no problems with mine but obviously a known problem for some.

My 110 has its fair share but nearly 400'000 k by the last owner and going by all the rooted bushes and flogged out shock mounts and red dirt every where it's worked hard but nothings about to snap off just some cracks around one of the body mounts

The 18 month old Trito at work has no cracks in the chassis. The replacement gearbox that they have to put in (under 100k) is going to sting though !

I hate those things, ugly looking pos.
The one that gets me is the bloke in a 79 series tray back around town, more stickers for RM williams and bundy than i've ever seen, smoke stack twin pipes and a passion for tailgating
