As Inc said, it was cold and wet last week and there were 20 million there, so today there's probs a few more

Well, just got back after a nice day out. Did NP first, but went to the top of the dam near the wall and couldn't see anything. The gate to the was locked - not sure if that is normal. Couldn't be bothered going all the way around to the bottom section.
Drive through to Wivenhoe, and whilst it was busy, was still worth it. Parked about 500m from the lookout, but probably could have got much closer had we have known better. The walk was good exercise anyway. The ice-cream van idea would have been a cracker 
Took in Somerset on the way home, and only the bottom pipe was releasing. Didn't matter because it was virtually on the way home anyway.
I'll try and post a video of Wivenhoe later.
