    Dealextreme sell replacement screens and touchpads for cheap. You have to install it yourself.

    Haven't needed to you myself, but have had friends replace their own screens on Iphone 3's.

    Really not that difficult to do, unless you've got fingers like a pound of pork sausages.
    I've done a couple (iPod Touches/iPhones - same principle) and bought the parts from a vendor on eBay. $30 or so will get you going again depending on what has actually broken - there's 3 components to the screen itself. It all depends what is actually bust.
