Auto darkening numberplate covers just like your welding mask. The speed camera flash triggers the LCD film to go dark at a faster speed than that of the camera sensor. But I guess that would be illegal and antisocial but it would still be interesting to try to build one. I'm sure that you could get the reactive lens in numberplate size somewhere in China and the sensors would be easy. You could even make it environmentally resposible and have it solar powered.

ROFL, I was on the train into the CBD today, every one, absolutely everyone had a phone, ipod etc etc ,and they all had stunned mullet looks on their faces. With all that radiation being transmitted in the train carriage I wonder when some one tells us it causes passive brain cancer.A pocket size device that will neutralise mobile phones and walkmen for a twenty metre radius.
And then there were the heros that talked so loud that every one could hear their conversation, must be tough when they are so important.
Now I know why Metro wants to put Tvs in all carriages, to give the passengers something else to look at. They certainly don't like talking or making eye contact with their fellow passengers.
