As Tusker says - the train is the better option for commuting.
One train change isn't too bad, anyway, it beats having to change at Epping as well, as was required when the line first opened - now most trains are straight through. ;)
Peak times in the North Ryde/Macquarie Park area aren't fun. I once walked home from (Macq) uni during the PM peak and found that it took the same time as a car I noticed (a D3) to do the 3km before I turn off the main roads. :eek:
Mind you, it only takes me 35min to do the 3.5km, and that includes waiting for the "walk" at the lights. :D
