I travel the F3 daily & the traffic most days banks back from Wahroonga to the Mt Colah on ramp. It can take around 15 mins to get through this section at around 6.30am.:mad:Quote:

Now I won't tell you about the bushfires we fought around Gosford in January 1994...suffice to say that all up in that emergency which was in other areas beside Gosford there were 22000 firefighters in the field from all states of Australia. I really appreciate all the advices/hints about how to deal with traffic/train. It is supposed that the job hours will be flexibe... but you do not know it well until you get there and get used to the job/project/people.
At the beginning the company pays the rental, so maybe I will stay close to the office until I get used to the country, and start looking for a nice place.

Thats the beauty of living in Newcastle and visiting Sydney, youre always going against the traffic on long weekends and school holidays.
The Central Coast to Sydney commute will slowly grind you down, find somewhere close by and save the money you would have spent on petrol and put it towards your accommodation, there are heaps of townhouses in the area because of the uni ie Marsfield.
