oh, anf with the hamstring being a large mussel compared to day a rolled ankle 30 min might be better to make sure the coldness reaches the injury

    RICER still applies...

dont forget to not let it sieze up, when your not doing rice gently move it through range of motion without encountering anything more than slight discomfort and definately not pain.

What to note while it's resting/relaxing/tightening up is:

    1. Range of motion. Full with pain, partial without pain

    2. Point of motion you initially feel pain and can you reach full potential of extension before reaching limit of pain.

Pfft don't listen to any of them!! The new treatment is far far simpler...

Have a cup of cement and HTFU!

And play really footy, none of this touch nonsense!

And yes, of course I am kidding. RICER works wonders. Voltaren will also help if the pain is pretty bad.

    1. Full retract with minimal pain but pain with extension

    2. Last part of extension pain, but can I can reach full potential

Also is it worth noting it's painful to have weight on ie. sitting down and leaning to the bad side

    Thanks

Voltaren and panadol combined with nurofen +, alternate doses.

Panadol/voltaren then halfway to it's next dose hit the nurofen. Makes each does of each at full recommended intervals and neither has the same ingredients so you're not ODing. But then recommended doses are based on LD50 anyway. So it'll only kill half of you.
