Lou, does she have a really FAVOURITE food that you could encourage her to eat so she can have her medications???
Cougar LOVES Liver Treats ...maybe she will eat something like that ??? Just a thought. Hopefully when she gets a bit peckish, she will start to take food.
Also has she a favourite toy, or something that smells like home..... or like you (sorry:o don't mean that as an insult). Just something that reminds her of her loving family at home.
Humans take a few days to get over an op before they start to eat again... give her a day or so and maybe she will respond.
We really hope so. Hope all goes well:)
Hope everything goes well for her. :) I understand what it's like...Earlier this year I lost my 10 year old Golden Retriever to a fast growing cancer that killed her within two weeks...it was heart breaking as there was no warning...holding my best friend in my arms at the vets and watching her slip away... :no2:
Anyways, on a positive! Hope the outcome for your girl is favourable! :)
Erich she doesn't have a favorite food....I know what she is like if she gets worried she goes inside herself...
cooking her up rice pasta and vegies with some cheese tonight and will take that in for her....I tried to feed her chicken today and she was not interested...in fact she wasn't overlly interested in me either.
She has never liked the shelter thats how I ended up with her in the first place...fostered her because she wasn't coping.
She will be OK she needs to lose a bit of weight anyway:angel:. Just dont like the fact she can't get her meds..if they can't get her to eat they going to swap it over so she can have injectables
Hope all goes well with your young'un Lou, at least with sick 'human' kids they can TELL you why they feel a certain way or where it hurts.
Chin up!:)

I can bring my dog over. She seemed to like eating him last time they met :(.
