A soccer mom report, but how does it really handle for what it was designed for?

What a shallow bitch. She seems to have a lefty past and is now trying to get friendly with current lefties. She says it was some kind of experiment to see if it was justifiable. Well I have news for her, if you believe what she does, she is defending the indefensible.

Commenting on all the electrical gadget stuff is so bloody superficial oh her behalf, as we all know its "nice to have" but installing the latest electrics in what the world is producing at the time is normal for any new car, LR's not excluded. What a RR is really about is the core engineering, the suspension, other engineering aspects and the 1.6 billion in development making essentially a 10 year old car still better than any new model of 4x4 today. She completly ignored all this for comments on GPS etc..

As I said, if I have read her right, then this car cannot be justified for her and this article is nothing more than her trying to feel good about being rich, driving a nice car that she spent years rallying against, and wasting resources when she could be driving a car that does 4 times the mileage.

    She sold out.

I'm not actually sure what her point is....and it has been mentioned in many forums including top gear, that after driving a D4, it's a bit hard to justify buying a Rangie. So I guess if you want the extra luxury, there it is. Maybe you can't afford the other RR with the angel on the bonnet. .

Some people want to fight to save the planet others have no qualms about enjoying their wealth and I'm sure there are plenty of folks in between.

However, whatever her point is, she does state "And that's before you've tested its staggering off-road capacity, which my colleague Andrew English did recently, and which should be mandatory for all new owners in order that they appreciate the fabulous British engineering involved, regardless of whether they ever plan to off-road in it again". To me she's acknowledged all the hardware capability and it would be redundant to repeat it. I'm assuming her offsider Andrew English didn't focus on the soft stuff too much.
