Why?.Do you have any idea how many manufacturers build vehicles in China or get thier parts from Chinese factories?.Buying a Chinese built LR is no different from buying a Thai made Toyota,Honda,Isuzu etc. Pat

and it would be worse than buying a UK made one because???????.....would think that they may have a better chance of reproducing a set quality than the other side who must have put mine together on Fri/Mon

Just about everything we buy here is made in China...so why not.

Would you buy one that was assembled in Australia for what it would cost to do it?

Tata will probably begin manufacturing parts and ship them to the uk for assembly. I can't see any reason the couldn't assemble defenders anywhere ie RSA, India etc. They could even begin parts distribution out of India instead of mainly the uk.

Don't really care where they are made.

With all the let-you-down at the worst possible moment computers, plasticine diffs and the Oh so reliable puma engine, I'd rather keep the old ones alive.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
