Hi,
Found this interesting.....
Watch the full clip or the highlights, both get the main message across.....
David Suzuki's Legacy - Environment - Browse - Big Ideas - ABC TV
So, your thoughts....
Are we in the 59th minute, and do you think the test tube analogy to hold true?

Yeah apologies if I'm a few years out of the loop, but wattya think, we stuffed it or what?
Can we make (if his "Nostradamus" is correct and we are trying to eat a **** sandwich) the 59th minute the 55th?
Are we "clever" enough to fix it?
Should we just give up and concentrate on the "oh well, it's ****ed, so hows mars doing" mentality or can we make this joint sustainable?
Beyond me worrying about it but hey, you gotta ask?
we are clever enough to fix it, we are just to selfish to act on it. It would mean we all would have to change far to much to quickly.
It's easier to do a little bit and feel good about ourselves, and hope someone one else really makes a difference.
Is it over, who knows really. For me the earth is like the human body, you can treat it like **** for a long time, but eventually, and these days, you get cancer and die.
I look at my children and wonder on there future. The issue of sustainability is so big and complex that I as an individual can do little. But we try to be green, and I don't mind being called a tree hugger. The way I see it if my children need a future, I have to be.
