    OK, in order of questions...
Fluids: Sorry to say that there is an ARB dual battery system. The battery was crap but I 'rescued' the near new Alrounder Deep Cycle/Starter from the x.

Crash: Happy to measure up the hole under the alpine window and take a pic for you.

Robbotd5: The LED's ARE interesting hey! They are bloody brilliant. The 2 top rows are set up as a spot and the 2 lower are floods. I haven't got it all working properly as yet, but a play down a side street showed brilliant light to about 600 metres from the spotties and a fantastic cover from the bullbar out front amd wide from the floods. I'll have a decent camera this week and will take some pics from a drivers point of view.

Robbotd5: You also asked about the k's on the vehicle...... I'd never be so rude as to ask her age!

But she has 245k up there, all well serviced long miles.

G'day Ray, long time no see!

The old disco was written off after challenging the Avon. Auto ECU got drowned. Got all the lockers etc out, so now I'll get his one up to s similar standard by just after (grrrr) Christmas.

How did I get it so cheap? Well I was just in the right place at the right time. I have to say here that she is a bit rough around the edges. Quite a few minor scuffs etc but hey, if I bought one in perfect nick for $20k or so, it'd soon have them anyway.

Did I say thet the auto was replaced only 50km (thats 50kilometres!) ago.

I don't think there is any Disco owner on this forum that likes you at the moment!

Any chance that we can find out about those spotties, like where you got them and how much.
    Very interested.

I bought the lights from a forum member who imported some to see what they were like. I think he'll be bringing in some more soon. I'll let him know that you're interested and he'll get in touch. (Not trying to be cute here but he only had a few and so didn't put them up on the verandah as he would have been inundated).

The light bodies are die cast including the ends. They are water/dust proof and have stainless mounts. They come with a relay (the wrong type in my case...oh well, only $9) and a switch which is a pretty horrible toggle. I used an LR binacle switch.
    Price is around $850/pair.

As for the pics of them in operation.... I still don't have a camera that will take the pics, maybe santa will be kind

They are absolutely bloody BRILLIANT lights, cleanest whitest light I have ever driven behind.
