Need some info please guys.
Travelling from Albury up the Hume and then turning off the Hume to go through to Adelong and Tumut this week.
Will I be driving through plagues of grasshoppers?
Thanks.

I drove from Melb to Canberra two weeks ago and there were heaps of them along the Hume while in Vic - so many that they actually stuck to the insides of the wheels.

I would imagine you will run into a few... Thousand. They were on the move big time today as it warmed up. Quite thick in between Charlton and Bendigo, but I hear that furthe west around Horsham was even worse, and with a couple more warm days on the way, they will continue to get worse.

I have just drove the hume from the Wagga area to Sydney a couple of days ago, there were a few but not too bad on the Hume, but that could change ! They were very bad between Narandra and Wagga, and the very worst between Port Augusta and Renmark in SA and Mildura in Vic!
Defenatly worth having a radiator net shield if you dont want to spemd hours washing them out !
Cheers
