Yup, not a HUGE fan but certainly looking forward to it.

I felt the same when I went to see Def Leppard a couple of years ago...went more for my wife but was very pleasantly surprised by how good they were in concert. Consumate professionals. Unlike their support - Cheap Trick, they sucked!

I close the doors from my back deck: we're 500m up the hill from the Suncorp stadium ...even at that distance it's plenty loud enough

Others I know of live somewhat closer in an apartment with concrete floors...they said that for two nights last week they felt the vibration in the floor while U2 were playing...

frankly I think there is more aural symphnonic beauty in a well tuned V8 revving up and down the scales than some of the crappe emanating from the stadium of late... I'm sure that tonight's effort By Jove will do nothing to change my mind....

I have to take SWMBO and the kids there tonight (me, not going rather go and get an enema) But I am going to have to find something to do for a couple of hours as I'm not driving back to the Gold Coast for 2 hrs and then coming back. (Brekkie creek hotel looks good)

Took the missus on Satruday night for our 10th anniversary. Was held at Etihad stadium in Melbourne.

I loved it personally - was a bloody good night.

(Actually I was backing up as I went to Jimmy Barnes/Vanessa Amerossi the night before at the Kinross Woolshed)

    Heh Hoges,

Where do you live??? we live 500m up the hill as well! We're in Cairns Tce.

I don't mind the odd rumble now and then, even though I am not a fan of him.

    Cheers,

    Gotta report....

I was bored mindless through the concert..........

Screen show was absolutely awesome.........seriously, incredibly well done!

    Sound was average.

Their ability to play or sing..........I think was solid.

However. It’s a sad indictment that just about the whole audience was seated until they played a Rolling Stones track.

Sorry, wouldn’t pay to see ‘The Stones’ and I WANT MY MONEY BACK ON Bon Jovi………………
