I have a friend that is a police officer, and when he got his new private vehicle he got PIG-007 on it, first time into work with them his S/sarg said "you have 24 hours to get them off " he replaced hem with standard plates, later replaced with personals.

$2500 for plates or a pair of tru traks, not a hard choice really.

I'm with Ath, people already think I'm a ******, no need to confirm it.

    Bit like some signature blocks
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

When I bought mine years ago they were listed as "re-issue" as they were of the old Qld white on black 3 letters and then 3 numbers they were for my 68 ex-military Series 2a being OLR-*** only cost me $105 from memory, but that was before PPQ was formed and the prices went through the roof I own the plates so can transfer them to what ever vehicle I wish at plate transfer fee.

    cheers

Qld Transport does NOT charge anything to fit or remove your personal plates. If you are removing them and wish to fit normal Qld plates, then there is a fee for issue of new standard plates.
