People in Darwin N.T. use the sea container to make homes from because they are Cyclone proof. Mainly down on bush blocks.they join two or three container together to make some nice homes.
Do not know if it is still there, but a few years ago down Ourimbah Street, Tweed Heads, was a very nice Office block for a business, made out of two 40 foot containers. Guess if you were renting a bloc of land when you moved you could take your home/Office/Garage with you, buy hiring a truck to move it for you.
Or if you had a house on a block rent it to pay the mortgage and live in the container on your own block--But I would not go into big debt at the moment.
Many people live in caravan parks. Surely living in a container on a block of land would be a better choice.
