    Ebay key fob discovery 3 activation

    I have just bought a spare key fob off e bay for my discovery 3. it has the same numbers etc. does any one know if i can get it activated. Southern Land Rover said they will try but would still charge if it fails. thanks

    Is it a generic key fob or a Land Rover one?
