hah! My wife is always threatening to maroon me at a plaza too. She says I am far too comfortable in the outdoors so she wants to see me survive in a plaza for 24hours... c'mon Dave, one hour to go mate...

Sorry, can't help other than offer moral support for the marooned...

Has he been through the simple things like making sure it's in Park? I know it sounds silly, mine did the no start thing once and I did the key out lock the car then unlock it and try again and after a few goes it started. Or try starting in Neutral if park is mucking up. I'll try to add more as I remember it.

Yet another great reason to own a Landy: they can always give you an excuse when you've been out all night on the turps so long as you call in every so often and say "bastard still wont start". "Whats all that loud music in the background?". "Bloody radios stuck on as well".

    Check:
    Auto is in P
    Is it cranking over?

It may be "electrical interference", if you're near doors, or under powerlines.
Try and push the car into a different location.

What is the D2 actually doing?
Are you getting any response from the key fob?
    Is it cranking at all?
    Are the electrics/lights/power working?

I have a Nanocom and am on the Southside, but a bit pressed for time today.
PM'd you my details, give me a bell if no else can get ya.
I might be able to help you later this arvo.

    Cheers

Silver disco? I saw it go past on the back of a tilt tray at New market.

Nothing worse than a non starter for no apparent reason.....

Fill us in when you find out why.

    Cheers,
