LOL. I had that with my boy and the RRC, he loved that thing, but it went to my Dad and he has since sold it. Now he wants the Fender and being 11 have decided rather than get a new 4x4 will spend some money on the Fender and he can have it when he gets his licence and we will get a new one then.
Daughter I think will be getting a Wrangler hard/soft top as she is 15 shortly so will be on the lookout this year.

Im glad that he has taken an interest, I'll be happy to hand him the keys when he gets his licence, hopefully the old girl is still battling on in 11 years time.

Sounds familiar to me... only i was the youngen... when my old man bought the Range Rover Classic i like most fell in love and told him endlessly that i wanted it to be mine! And at about the age of 12 he threw me the keys and thus began my Land Rover Passion. I use to drive that thing allll over the property day after day.

Best part... i still have it

I think you'll need to hang onto it a bit longer, by the time Marcos can get his license he will need to do 1033 hours on his Ls

Yeah, you are probably right Bushie, they are going over the top with it all. I dont see that the attitude of P-platers has changed since I was on my P's when I did the 12 months on your L's 12 months on your P's then straight onto your full licence.

Wow!!!

I did 12 days on Ls (couldn't get an opening for Ps test before then!!!)
And then 3 months on Ps and then full license.

Then the Australian Gov. Taught me to drive all manner of vehicles

LOL, when i did mine back in 1996 i think it was a minimum of 3 months on your L's but you couldnt test for your P's until you were 17. You could get your L's when you turned 16. I got mine on the day of my 16th birthday so had to wait the 12 months.
