As Brian said, USPS (US Post) is the only way to go, Fedex and UPS are stupidly exxy.
A mate buys saws (new and used) and parts from the US all the time, (I've bought a new saw and a few bits too) and we always use USPS and never have a problem with customs (except when the value exceeds $1000).
McCulloch aren't what they used to be 30 years ago - I'd get a new reliable one and go Stihl.
