I like our flag (you may have noticed that) as its also not garish or too bright (in my opinion) like some others....

Not a direct stab at you Stock, most of the suggestions I've seen are (in my opinion) very garish or will be very dated quickly... (ken done is a painter here that does very bright stuff!)
Imagine these new designs draped on a coffin of a fallen soldier for example, not really appropriate.. any flag needs to be imagined in this situation before any decision is made..

Never heard of Ken Done........went and looked him up .............now I'm offended I know I can't paint even have difficulty painting the property wall..... gave it up when I was a Nipper wasn't able to do it to any great skill but now after viewing some of Mr Done's work maybe I should have stayed at it .................as I know I can do better than that even with a yard brush...............

When you get here in your leaky boat, just throw your papers overboard and tell Immigration you're a Christian Afghani and fear for your life if you return to Kabul. As you know all Afghani Christians speak with an Irish accent because of all the Irish Catholic missionaries!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

This would be my flag of choice, BUT unfortunately it was tarnished by the BLF in the 70s and 80s
