    incredible flood donation

Just saw on news site a fundraising sausage sizzle was held in Wooloomoloo in Sydney for the many homeless people in that area. It was reported they donated the money back to the Qld flood appeal. If the story is even only half true, I dips me lid to them. The human story coming out of this disaster is just incredible. Yes, it has been reported 10 looters have been arrested, but the positive stories are almost enough to restore my faith in human nature. Why is it it takes a disaster to achieve that? Bob.

Just watching the cricket and KFC just dropped $150K for it (not that they couldn't spend more) but $50K came from the Qld franchise system. On that basis $250-300K would have been more on the money. But it all helps. As for the looters...

Solution: Feed them to the homeless. Wait, from the previous post they have better taste.

Could not agree more Next time I am in Sydney, I will give a donation to one of the many homeless beggers on George St.[ although last time I did that in Karachi, I was mobbed , only escaped by the skin of my wallet] Bob.
