    Ipswich Motorway open?

Does anyone know for sure, from personal experience, if the Ipswich Motorway, Moorooka to the Warrego Highway turnoff at Dinmore is open to traffic yet?

RACQ Road Conditions is both vague and ambiguous. Also tends to be very much NOT up to date.

RACQ report timed at 10.23 today says still closed at Oxley flats, Goodna, Dinmore. That's why I asked as I know RACQ often speak with forked tongue, or are so far behind that one comes to doubt any information from them.

RACQ says still closed in three places as above but should reopen 6.00pm tonight.

Anyone actually been over it or got anything more recent?

I have friends flying in from Dubai on Sunday afternoon and they need to drive to (near) Toowoomba

I have just within half an hour or so returned from Ipswich but I used the Ipswich motorway and then the Logan motorway.
There were no problems whatsoever on the section I drove, sometimes restricted to 60k's but I feel that this is because of the ongoing roadwork more than anything else.
Traffic was turning off on the Toowoomba t/o in great droves so I presume that that section is open too.

I've just been out to Forest Hill near Ladley and had no troubles on the Ipswich Motorway or the Warrego Highway as far as the Ladley turnoff.

There are a few landslides on the Warrego but there are blokes out there cleaning it up. Its down to 1 lane in each direction and 40kphr speed limit.

Otherwise the roads are some what pot holed but no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be.

We went out to a work mate of Dads to deliver a new washing machine and some groceries. There house was inundated but only on the ground floor. Half of the town had turned up and already they had washed out the ground floor and the outside walls.

The damage to his sheds was amazing. He had railway sleepers down on the ground which had been picked up and stacked in the corner by the water. A silo of grain had popped up and floated out of its spot.

The worse part is his cattle feed is rotting and fermenting and all of his fences are down so his cattle were being loaded onto trucks heading to a friends place.
