Yeah I was helping a mate as his place at Oxley today - I've never seen so much stuff piled up in the street - so much of everything just stuffed - carpets. plasterboard, furnishing, electrical appliances etc. Very sad.

There's a fair few Asians in the area and apparently they just couldn't be told - wouldn't beleive about the flood severity - and as a consequence lost it all. Sad.

Bloody hard work but it's amazing how good you feel inside afterward ! The body may be sore but the heart and mind are re-invigorated. It's very satisfying to chip in and help.

I didn't take pics (there were too many bloody gawkers and sightsee-ers as it was) but the most amazing thing (to me) was the park across the road from Nev's place. Some bloody big trees there and they were brown to about 2/3 of the way up, then green above. (Tide mark). Incredible. That''s a LOT of water.

I was in Goulburn doing driver training and we drove around some of the sections affected by the floods in early december and the tide marks was what suprised me aswell. We drove around checking out the flood affected houses and the line was just so defined. Brown on one section of the houses in a perfect straight line all the way around and then crisp white paint above. has to be seen to be believed.

I hope he's doing alright.

I still carnt get over the twit complaing that Mackas used the wrong bun on his burger be cause thats all they had and he still wanted a discount
The people of Bellbowrie are not happy Because the live behind a river , this is what happens when it rains lots of water the road gets cut off
Been doing a house clean up out at Loowood people in shock etc heading back out to do another to morrow

Some people are very selfish. I was doing point duty at a fatal accident and some bloke had a whinge at me when I told him the road was closed and he had to go the long way. What do you say to ******* like that?
