Trailer springs help working out replacement

Hi, I'm trying to find replacement shackle springs for an off road camper trailer with an ATM of 1700kg. I tried trailer spring manufacturers but they think they must be automotive springs due to size. Dimensions are below. Has anyone got any idea what they may have been sourced from or any advice on who to check with? Was originally a Trektrailer I think but I've no idea if they fitted the suspension now beneath it. Doesn't need anything fancy.

It's fixed by a fixed retaining at the front and a hanging retainer at the back with poly bushes at the 3 moving points.

    Length between shackle eyes 1150mm
    Width of leaf 70mm
    Thickness of leaf 6.66mm
    Number of leaves 9

    Thanks
    Craig

I just got a set of 1750kg springs with rebound leaves (off road springs)
    Alco springs
    840mm centres (long)
    65 mm wide
They come with all the mounting hardware including greasable shackles
From memory around $360 for the kit.
    cheers

That's a good kit. Problem is my centers need to be around 1150mm and all the trailer kits seem to be 840mm max. I'm hoping that someone might know the size is say a standard SWB Landcruiser spring or similar .....

IIRC Hilux springs were a common trailer fitment. Try finding some specs on them.

Your springs are almost cettainly gonna be Tojo Hilux front springs (from solid axle luxs) They measure to your specs.

You can easily get greasable shackles and bushes on flea bay

Any friendly wrecker can supply springs for you

They make excellent trailer springs due to length and strength.
Ride great (for a leafy trailer) especially with a good pair of dampers.

Thanks guys, I'll look up the local wreckers in the morning and see what they've got.
