    Smoking.... or not!

I see my doctor tomorrow, should get a prescriptioin for some drugs. Then, I give up smoking. Been doing it for 26 years, and I think that is plenty for anyone! Wish me luck folks!

Congratulations, Good luck and what better time than now!

My Auntie had a life changing smoking induced experience two weeks ago. Its better to get out while you're still alive and kicking! (She's now a double amputee via gangrene)

But also the emotional and mental strength required as well. Certainly hope you can see the decision through to a successful conculsion.

    Good luck.
I remember quitting when I was young, a doctor friend of the family said in passing "You can't claim to be intelligent and be a smoker"

    Made perfect sense to me.
