    Things you see when you don't have the cash

    I was an a car auction today and a 2010 Patrol came up for sale. 3.0 TD 5 speed manual, cab chasis with 8000km on the clock. GEARBOX U/S
    Now I'm not the biggest Nissan fan, far from it. But as these gearboxes have a reputation for being bullet proof, you got to ask, What happened? Did someone do something really stupid?

    Probably something stupid.

    But stay away from the 3.0TD with the ZD30TTi engine, it is a finicky thing and due to ECU and MAF issues, prone to self destruction.

    A Patrol with a nice Yank 4.7HO V8 and the 45RFE auto box......now that would be good.
