Mind you no one would believe it as the sea behind it would look like a tidal wave standing still.

You could impress people twice in the one video with that one then. Could be like the parting of the red sea, but holding back the sea to allow a land rover to climb the hill instead

I have had a bit of a search on the web (Google "Koos se Klip") and the consistent figure seem to be 43 degrees.

Its real....that should of been fairly obvious by the sheer amount of space he gets in the rear wheel arch on the way back down.

The video looks genuine. I would say the first video has been manipulated a little to make it look steeper than it is. The second looks about right, lucky bugger in the Fender.
Most I have done is about 40 deg in a Pajero on Rock and it scares the daylights out of you, especially when the wheels start to slip.
Have done maybe 45-50 on bikes but with momentum.

I think the answer is that if it appears to you that is is steeper than 43 degrees, then it does not portray the reality of the situation.

Thats for sure, but the RRS does it with such ease.

A few bits of vegitation are growing at odd angles, but you can't tell for sure, the limits of adhesion tell me that bits are over exagerated by the camera angle.

I've seen the same video but it was longer and showed a hilux driveing down and it rolled forward end over end and the cab squashed down to the dash.He obviously let his ego get in the way. Pat
