It only takes me 8 minutes to drive from home to work and that includes getting through the gates at work.

never ceases to amaze me how when theres no roo warning on base everyone speeds round me. When the roo warning is in place everyons happy to sit behind me at whatever speed I want to do.
Image that comes to mind here is Land-Rover on the long straight drag strip out the front of your work with a couple of jets tucked in behind due to the roo warning.

Metal bullbars phased out by federal government vehicle design

And getting hit by a car/truck/4wd or what ever without a bull bar wont kill you?

Maybe we should test this on Harold Scruby.

I particularly like how the Subaru Forester falls into the same category as a Nissan Patrol and Land cruiser and get to meet the Aussie standards yet the 2wd hilux etc have to meet the Euro standards

He is a sad sad little man. A serial pest. A human headline with a hatred of all things vehicular, a fax machine and too much time on his hands. But by virtue of his constant barrage of complaints, he has an audience with the RTA, friends in government and other authorities.

    A Scruby quote....

"I would urge any person who has ever been struck by a bull bar to get in touch with us or their lawyers because I can assure you that 90 per cent of the bull bars today are illegal. It's only a matter of time before people who have bull bars are going to be sued for a lot of money. That will also include the people who fit the bull bars, who manufacture the bull bars and, perhaps in the future, those who approve the bull bars being fitted."

Feel free to express yourself, as he has a hotfrog page.

    Harold Scruby Consultancies

I suspect at some point roof racks, plumbers trucks, glass trucks etc will be on his agenda...as opposed to educating the brain dead maggot pedestrians he supposedly represents, who flagrantly break the law everyday; eyes are down texting; their ears full of music from their mp3.

He also is at the forefront of wanting to change our flag.
