My far back relos were called Meehan so where they lived was called Ballymeehan, until some tyrannical pommy lord named Hamilton kicked em all out and it was then called Manor Hamilton, the name never changed back.

Recently I've been corresponding with someone in the UK at "Witsend Farm".
I'm thinking about buying some acreage myself. It will be called "Fintail Farm" but that's another marque.
What about "Landy Lodge"?
If the location is a little parched, I think a more bigger than Texas sounding name would suit such as "Lazy Landy Ranch". "Ponderosa" was already taken.
