    Hi Incisor,
I work at a mower shop, and we have a Masport dealer account, I will see if I can get the parts for you. The mandrel (I'm assuming you mean the jackshaft on the deck) I can probably get as an aftermarket part without a drama, It would be cheaper that way too.

    Cheers Paul

Hi Paul, Do you have a transaxle for a Husqvarna Ride On ?? Just been quoted $1300 to repair it.
Maybe it's time to buy a new mower.

Sorry, can't help much with the Husky Transaxle, They are generally a throw away item once it fails. They cost a lot to fix because they are a sealed hydraulic unit and are a fairly specialised thing to work on. They are usually the most expensive component to replace as well. It might be worth getting repaired if the rest of the mower is in good nick and not too old, otherwise probably better to put the money towards a new mower.

I am not a big fan of hydrostatic transmissions, they are maintenance free for a long time, but when they fail they cannot be worked on.
