Any one sent an email to PADDOCKS?

I sent an email to Paddocks in the UK. I have heard they are slow in reponding, I sent a postage charge request on a safari snorkel. as I don't want just buy one with out knowing the postage charge.
but how long do they usually take to respond to emails?

I have bought several items from Paddocks....they do not appear to respond well to emails....unless you can direct it to a specific person. They post out fast.

I ordered and paid for two distributors for the 2.25 and they sent me 4....I just love them

they wont respond to a postage request...you have to buy the item then they will give you a postage quote if your not happy with the quote then they refund your money. if you are happy then they just charge your card for the postage.

Its annoying the way they do it but I guess they must get Soooooo many postage quotes that amount to nothing and become a time wasting exercise.

However I buy from paddocks a fair bit and if you can get lots of other smaller bits sent at the same time even though postage is high you do save money.

I recently bought heaps of things for my series, like a brand new radiator, shocks, drums. brake shoes...heaps of stuff! the postage was a killer but I still saved myself over 450bux doing it this way

There's a supplier that won't be on my list then. Basic customer service. Wether you get one or one hundred a day doesn't take much.

Goods service tells one, bad servcie tells a forum.

it does when you have to pack everything up and weigh it to find out there not interested anyway.
I think you would be surprised how much business goes through places like that and how many people from overseas buy from them

I buy from them, and have been emailing them a bit lately, i've emailed a few different people with no response, although i have mainly been dealing with Tom, he emails me back straight away (well the next day due to time difference), he even gives me costings on postage.
He was shocked when i told him its much cheaper to buy arb, super pro and safari products from them as they are australian companies.
Oh and for those who think its bad service, they sent me the wrong braided brake lines (not there fault, goodrich packed them wrong), sent me the correct ones free of charge, arrived within a week.
