+ the time to re-do the work that wasn't done properly the first time, then to pay for the purchase, lease and maintenance of the workshop: tools; hoists, fittings, the costs of cleaning, waste removal, Office equipment, consumables, insurance, public liability, acountant, preparation of BAS statements and tax, pay receptionist wages and superannuation. Tea and coffee for customers and the staff lunch room.
I'd say $103.50 per hour may be the quick way to bankruptcy.

I have done a bit of research here on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, (the Northern beaches is not known as one of the "cheaper" areas) and this is what I have found:
Basic Mechanic: $80 - $90hr
"Trade" mechanic (i.e. fridgy / sparky etc) $110hr
A/C check at most mechanics is included in the service
A/C Regas costs $150
Get major parts online prior to any service, e.g. I just put poly bushes on my radius arms, they cost me $50 delivered to my door for all 6 sets, from one of the biggest suppliers in the UK
When you go to pay the bill it will always be "ooohhh that was harder than we thought" so if a mechanic says 3hrs, I always think 4
