Did one today to an unsuspecting work colleague of SWMBO.
Got a text saying she was off making a coffee so I rang her number to leave a message. As she is in accounts, I left a vague name and complained as to why my account was still outstanding and asked she call my accounts manager named Annie Lyons and sort out the details.
Subsequent number was for Perth Zoo!
"ring ring..... Hello, Perth Zoo"
"Oh, good morning can I speak to Annie Lyons please..."
"sorry, who was it you wanted?"
"I want to speak to Annie Lyons.."
"umm, this is the zoo, you can't speak to 'any' lions as lions can't talk.... It's an April fools joke ma'am, someone has got you!"
"Got me? I'm sorry I don't quite understand.....?"
Aparently not the brightest crayon in the box either!
Her office got more of a laff from the fact she had no idea what had just happened!!
Was so chuffed I pulled it on a couple of people at work and had a win there too!!!
