    sticking it to swmbo

Husband gives away cash to spite 'greedy' ex

I dare say the only people not laughing are the ex and her lawyer.

Not really that funny when you consider that there are children involved. There are few things I detest more than someone using religion to justify their wrong doing as in "it was the Christian thing to do", what a load of crap, he is a vindictive mongrel imho. Definitely NOT a Christian.

I doubt very much that he is a religeous fella otherwise he would have donated it to his church. I wouldnt be surprised if the money is burried in a tin somewhere.

Well that's his excuse he gave to court. I have met a few men who would rather live on the dole forever rather than give their ex's anything. It's a punishment thing that some people go through after a split up.

They stay on the dole to avoid Child Support, which they see as giving money to a despised former spouse, not as giving money to support their children. If the former spouse commences a new relationship, they then are more determined to give the ex nothing as their perception is that the ex will then be better off than they are.

In my Social Security days I met numbers of clients who would be lower wage earners if they were in the workforce and who said they are financially better off on the dole. Their low wage is reduced by income tax, costs of going to work, and child support, leaving them worse off by working than on the rock'n roll.
