Appeal for information
Hi everyone,
I am on a trail of information regarding a clutch sleeve for the notorious 'Toro' overdrive for Series Land Rovers.
My researching has come to a stop at this thread:
TORO overdrives
I have been in touch with the company in Ballarat, but they need more information about the person who initially ordered the part to be made.
Kenyan's details no longer exist on the database of AULRO, so my next step is to explore the minds of AULRO's users.
I am appealing for information about this enigmatic 'Kenyan'. If anybody knows who s/he is, or how to contact them it is very valuable information to me. I would very much appreciate hearing back from you.
Many thanks,
Sam

I was confused by this description/name in the original thread.
In a Land Rover rear PTO output, there is a sliding sleeve that engages the "dog clutch" and makes the PTO drive. You could call that a clutch sleeve.
The item that you were missing, I would describe as the mainshaft or input gear (or mainshaft/overdrive interface gear), but I wouldn't call it a clutch sleeve. The reason I wouldn't call it that is because when you slide the overdrive unit onto the back face of the transfer case housing, the overdrive output shaft/gear slides over the mainshaft inferface gear, which makes a permanent meshing with the input gear inside the overdrive.

Doing an internet search you could try Papadad who had one of the gears back in 2008.
ADDIT: Well there you go, it is called a CLUTCH SLEEVE see: Part no. TR08 http://up.picr.de/5632756.pdf
