Awesome drive. He showed good old fashioned Aussie guts to get from 18th to 3rd in the worlds most competitive motor sport series. Onya Mark.
Many people nock back Mark and how he drives.
Today he start 18 and finished 3 lapping the best times many time over.
It is about time to give some credit to the poor bugger![]()

Rubbish, if Vettal had his car in practice he would have qualified 2nd
Webber is sacked this year , stick to riding your pushbike Webber !!!
WTF
Vettel was sitting on pole!
He will most likely not be sacked but will retire but he may be pushed. Who knows, too early to say or theorise.
This was an all time best race ever IMHO. True grit and great planning.
Anyone that can't see that is either blind, an idiot or un-australien.
Oh. they could be all of the above.
I think NCF110 meant, that if Vettel had Webbers car, he could have started in 2nd..... but I don't follow F1 in the least, so completely uninformed on all of this.
One of the best GP's I have watched for a while. Webber was brilliant. What makes it even more interesting this season is the all the changes introduced - Pirelli's, KERS & DRS.
If Vettel have Webber car he would be last. Webber car have Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) problems and the management on top of that selected wrong tyres for the parctice and clasification.
In Malasia as well Webber's car have other KERS problems.
I just wonder if Red Bull is experimenting with his car and not Vettel's car.
Fantastic season so far, lots of action in all the races, China was hard to keep up with!
18th to Podium and only 7seconds behind the leader WITH NO SAFETY CARS!!!!!!!!!!!
If Vettel had a 3 stop strategy he would have won easily, tho it was good to see McLaren get up and win to mix it up a bit.
KERS trouble again for both red bulls - when they finally get that sorted it will help them out even more - missing out on 80hp.
Webber might move from Red Bull at the end of the season (hopefully not), but he will get picked up by another team. It is clear that he still has drive and pace. Tho he always does it hard - he never gets anything from lady luck.
Unfortunatley I missed the race and saw only the victory lap. Way to go Webber - 18th to 3rd is a fantastic result. He has never made it onto the podium from any further back than a 6th place start up until now. Plus he has posted the fastest race lap in the last 3 races, with a car that he has nothing but trouble with. With all the changes it is going to shape up to be an interesting championship this year. Team strategy is going to play a vital role this year with alot more pitstop / tyre changes. All teams are still adjusting to the Pirelli's.
GO Webber!
Well I thought it was a sensational race and a really great drive by Mark.![]()
