Puchasing another Rangie.
Am in the process of buying a 1993 vogue se. It hasyhr 3.9 litter engine.
Someone advised me that this engine was unreliable and costly to maintain.
And the 3.5litre was more reliable.
This has duel fuel, and looks the part.
Can someone advise what areas specifically to check(engine) before purchasing.
Thanks Nick.

The biggest single issue with any 3.9 is their possibility of cracking the block. There is no way of determining when it may happen, but overheating/poor rad maintenance raises the odds considerably. Make sure the cooling system is pristine and well maintained. The 3.5 is far less likely to crack the block with hard work but still needs good cooling maintenance to survive.
