Look us up if you need some shed space or a place to crash camp in Cooktown.
The development road is in great condition, pretty well all tracks are open, blue skys and plenty of wind!

Hi, roverrescue met you last year in cooktown i had the 130 with camper on the back and dual shocks as you may remember, leaving friday 8/07/11 to come up again for 2 months, same rig but will be towing a boat this time, made the offroad boat trailer myself, independent suspension, marinised brakes and running same stud pattern as landy so all wheels interchangeable, will get it back from galvanisers on wednesday so no time to waste need to get wiring done refit suspension etc and off to get it reg'd. Going to spend time at Bathurst bay, Skardon river, Janie's creek, and coleman river area's , guess you would know all these spots. Have lost all my contacts when computer died ( teach me to backup ) so if you send me your details maybe we can catch up again, read your article on the off road boat trailer sound like tough bit of gear!!!

    Gaz,
    Have pm you.

I like the sound of your trip and rigs rear addition.

I tried the independent suspension thang... just dont get it for a trailer (read tripod)
Side to side load sharing and fixed camber are things to love and adore! These only come with a solid axle!!!
Gotta try these things though! I see a triangulated 4 link in your fuure!

Definately need to argue the above over a beer or three
