Couple more changes I'd probably make,
    sliding back side window,
    the split windscreen,
    galv bumper,
and a different grille and headlight position...
    I like the alpine lights..
    I like the rubber floors,
vents, (if not vents at least 1/4 vent windows!! PLEASE)
    (Id also go RHD!!)

I wish they were working on a canvas roof model

I think the alpine lights are stupid. Had to do rust repair twice on mine.

    Mick,

I think you have cheap knock off Alpine Lights....

    My reason for saying so?

Ive never seen a genuine Alpine Light window rust at all... Genuine ones are made of glass!!!

    (sorry!)

actually I've been thinking more about this,

I'd make a few more changes...

    * seeing as ALPINE LIGHTS seem to cause angst I'll get rid of them
actually I'll take the roof off altogether

*- I'm getting rid of those poxy plastic wheel arches

    * spare tyre on bonnett again

    *- parking lights on firewall

    * buggered off the series 3 style vent

    * front number plate onto guard.

anyway heres a "mock up" of what I mean....)

    feeling better already........

MMMM I'll think a bit more about this... maybe a different colour?
    Sage green?

and it looks.....MMMM just a tiny bit too long, like a foot or so too long.....MMM
    what do you think?

Hey!!! Sleepy that is the best looking mock up Ive seen.

real close, needs a few changes, headlights need protection so I think behind the grille, and if the parkers are in the firewall then theyll light up the engine bay so you can stop anywhere and just admire the engine bay at random day or night.... Im also thinking that the curves on the sides look a bit...average so maybe slab sides.... and to break that up slope the back of the doors...

    But damn sleepy thats brilliant!!

We may be onto a winner, I reckon if we made that theyd maybe sell hundreds!

This is what Ive got to.....

(didn't have time to put the spare back on the bonnet, sorry!)
I havent worked out the blinkers yet, so maybe trafficators??
also changed the mirrors, I like these better...

working on the front vent..... Could the whole panel pivot maybe?

    I like this colour too!

and theres only one way to improve on that.......

the curves on the side can stay because the ones from the front are gone... beautiful!
shorter body just like I thought looked good... dont bother sloping the doors, throw em out!
look, no headlights behind grill so added a bull bar, doesnt need parking lights in front of firewall because its just so perfect!!!

MMMMMM Gunbuggy MMMMMM C'mon LAND ROVER, wake up its obvious this is the model for the new defender??

    everyone wants it.... c'mon...............................

    Please?

Ok, take your point digger. Perhaps we could "evolve" this even further.

I have got rid of the doors and placed the steering wheel in the centre (a la McLaren) to cater for all markets.

Land Rovers first entry into supercars?

In seriousness you could probably get away with showing the stying dept the S1/2 pics as they have probably never seen one (based on their current output)
