    Borescope

    Hi any one on site own a borescope? Im toying with buying one, mainly for wall cavity search "i.e. water leaks etc" Can you recommend any, and what price range should i be buying in? theres heaps on Ebay etc, but don't want to waste my money on something that wont work ...Gary

    ive got 3

    ones and old school fiber optic jobbie
    ones from jaycar
    ones from aldi

    the jaycar one is top notch even HH+co could use it

    the aldi ones similar but with a bigger head and more features (takes pics vids and exports to pc/tv)

    worth their weight in whatevers worth more than gold

    Hi Dave, the type you have are they stand alone or USB type? the only thing I can see on Jaycar is the latter ..what price range where they in? thanks Gary

    i have this 9 mm headed camera $170

    This one hasa 13mm head but you can add extentions to the goose neck to make it go further, this makes it impractical for me as a lot of the holes I need to inspect on chassis and boxes dont allow me to get in with the 13mm head, if your drilling holes in walls, thats not going to be a problem. $229

    This camera is the ducks nuts with both a 9mm head and the ability for the camera head to get immersed and a detachable screen so that you can move the unit around and have the screen elsewhere.
