but are there other possibilities?

This little beastie has appeared since the floods (in SE Qld). it has some very fine ultra sharp spines. Can anyone identify it? And if so, how do I kill/control it?

sorry mate I can't help with the type of weed , I almost always walk throught
the bush during my trecking and never know the names of Flora and Fauna ,
it is a bit sad actually.![]()

whcih I can beleive.it would be Amaranthus spinosa - 2% roundup will kill it.

Try using Grazeon. it will kill the plant but allow the grass to live.
RoundUp or any glyphosate spray will kill everything around. Even the mist of the spray is very deadly depending on the wind at the time of spraying.
