Been having a bit of a three amigo problem for a couple months, but not overly concerned and then about two months ago I pulled the right front hub apart, cleaned it and with the best of intentions filled it with oil. For some reason I got dragged away and didn't do the left side. First time I went for a drive the ABS came on....... one side only. Drove home slowly pulled all the sensors, refitted them and went for another drive..................same result. I figured it must be something to do with clean oil one side and filthy grease the other??????????

So I pulled the fuses, with every intention of putting oil in the left on the weekend.........................

Two months later and Rover is on blocks waiting for more goodies to arrive from all over the world, so I decided to do the modulator mod to get rid of the three amigo's, tidy up all the wiring, re-crimp a few earth terminals etc. And low and behold I ended up with two amigo's and no TC light???? So I stuffed around, scratched a few itchy spots, mumbled and cursed and had a brain fart......... Plug in the Nanocom and bleed the modulator and brakes again!!!!

Mmmmmmm.........."Cannot connect to the ECM". Bugga. More cursing, nut scratching and general bewilderment. Two days of .. stuffed if I can find the problem and it hit me.........put the bloody fuses back in you idiot.....

Yeee haaa.........we are on a winner................so plug the nanocom back in and bleed the modulator. Next thing, pop, clunk, tinkle, tinkle............. bloody brake calipers are off, aren't they, pistons popped out and brake fluid everywhere.

Now I have a good excuse to rebuild my front calipers.......next weekend.
