Chucaro's SpanOzglish is OK by me, I love reading it, trying to incorporate the accent at the same time

An Oxford comma is the comma used after the name fred, in the following example:

Jack, Fred, and Bob went for a drive today.

Without it would be: Jack, Fred and Bob went for a drive today.

I struggle to think of a great example where its really necessary, maybe:

Jack and Jill, Freda and Fred, and Betty and Bob went for a drive today. It wouldn't really work as well without the comma after Fred in that example, get it?

I hope that is a decent explanation of it, and I'm not further butchering the English language too much!

i think not, but it will make some happy and some not so. for they live in a very small world.
If the basics of life and world peace were the only considerations by which to judge what constitutes those things we should know then yes, the world would be a very small place.

How we structure our thinking is important to ensure we exist beyond animal life and evolve with a mind. That we can organise our thoughts separates us from the animals, like she said --> "Heather Anne Halpert: 'Are you people insane? The Oxford comma is what separates us from the animals.'"

Without that we might as well be rooting around under the forest canopy for housing or out on the savannah, wrestling with the lions and hyenas for food.

but where did i say "ONLY" but with out that its good to see you agree.
but on your misdirection i am under the impression that its Mans Logic and not his memory or imagination that separates us from the animals. for all animals dream therefore they have imagination, all animals have memory hence we can train a dog by repetition. but logic is what separates us.

since the Oxford comma a pears to have no logical reason then its usage would rely on memory and not logic. based on that i would sagest that the oxford comma is a conspiracy to return us to the animal world by confusing our logic.

Or its a conspiracy my those with good memory and poor logic. or those with nothing to contribute to society to put one over those that do.

but the real disapoint thing would be to agree with a YANK: Heather Anne Halpert. on the English language

since its English, i would sagest that the Queen has the last say on this, and she has no use for the Oxford Comma.
