G'Day, lotsa-landies, don't know about an igloo, does a white disco count? :) I think one of the reasons knives were scarce at school in the 60's is, we couldn't afford them.[ and our parents would have skinned us alive, cant touch kids now, thats progress, I guess] When I came down from the bush and attended Stafford Heights State School, my Mum dressed me up, my best shoes, etc. I walked through the gate, was set upon by some barefooted boofheads and copped a flogging for putting on airs. Luckily my four cousins were at the same school, and came to the rescue. We were all called up to the office, the others got 6 cuts each, I got 3, the head said he was taking it easy on me because it was my first day! you beauty! We fought before , at breaks, and after school quite often, but you know, as long as it was a fair fight, no one seemed to mind. I still say knee jerk reactions like banning hoodies are not the answer Bob
