    Heading off to Connie Sue

Finally after too long I've fueled the Landy, filled the Engel and packed my swag and heading out tomorrow for a trip up to Mt Augustus and then across the Gunny to Warburton and down the Connie Sue. Will hopefully get to Kalgoorlie later this month. Whether of not we pike when we get to Neale Junction and head along the Annie Beadell to take the the easy road to Kal remains to be seen.

Not going north enough to escape the cold alas but we'll take what we can get.

If you see a Defender, D2, Prado in convoy give us a wave.

    Cheers

Hope you take plenty of warm blankets. Has been ice on the car of a morning here in Kalgoorlie the last couple of days. Enjoy your trip.

obviously youre a Beadell fan, I too would love to explore all of his roads. I will, fortunately be able to explore the original bomb sites soon, still much to see there. Hope you have a ggreat time.

Well I'm in Warburton. I posted about a big Landie expedition I found at Wiluna. Done a bit of the gunny. The part that's in Wiluna shire is well maintained and easy but about 300k east of Wiluna it turns nasty. Always doable but Im allergic to corrugations. came to a sudden engine dead stop right in the middle of it. Turned out fuel pump wire had in plugged itself. Phew.

Tomorrow it's down the Connie Sue.

Have fun James. Photo's would be good .

Would love to do the Beadell tracks one day as well. It's mind boggling what he was able to do I reckon.
