    Melbourne Motor show

Well I'm disappointed, can't say they went all out this year.
Talking about a dismal failure in my eyes where were all the cool stuff you used to see?
Apart from the electric Renault and the BMW concept that was really all there was, I was thinking when the Mrs and I win the $30,000,000.00 Gold Loto next weekend that I would secretly give up on Land Rovers and get a Merc G-Wagon but now seeing it in the flesh even with a fist full of dollars I wouldn't get one not at $180,000.00 on road, can't see the price.
I'll wait and see the new Defender.
Anyway thats my gripe, won't bother going next year.

I found it to be dull and un-inspiring.
The Motor Classica display was the drawcard for me. Tha Shannons auction vehicles were also interesting to look at.
I thought the Mazda concept car was the best of the manufacturers cars.
The G Wagen was very desirable. I'd pay the asking. Mercs are well built. Not easy to see at a show but it is there.
The people on the Landrover/Rangerover stand were the most helpful, friendly people there. The Ford people were the rudest. Not buying a Territory now.
