Thread: Dog bit me

I have a full perimeter fence, access from stepped part for parking prior too entry is only by opening a gate, my dogs are to retarded to bite, but one makes a song and dance about visitors, I agree, with you entered a fenced perimeter, the dogs home, it's no fault of the dogs, yea the owner is a peanut, but one shouldn't enter a gate willy nilly, cause the gate is usually there for a reason, the dog was secured out of harms way until you chose to enter

As an aside I wouldn't keep a dog with such a trait either

This discussion now reminds me of a visit I made to a property in Queensland about thirty years ago. I had been warned not to get out of the car until ensuring that the brown dog was tied up. I pulled up outside the house yard, and ascertained that the brown dog was tied up. I was looking at the owner approaching the car from the left as I opened the door, so I did not see the blue dog approaching from the right. As soon as the door was half open, the blue dog bit my right thigh (I was in some sort of small rental car).
