I need a Pink Slip In Canberra

    Hi,
I need a Pink Slip in Canberra for my D1 on Lpg.

It has NSW rego but I need to get it changed over, any suggestions where I should go?

The cheeky answer would be Queanbeyan, but that aside many mechanics in the ACT have dual 'certification' and can issue you with a Pink Slip. I would go to Ray Spence at Canberra Motor Works. Give Kathy or Ray a call on 02 62418777. Canberra Motor Works is in Mitchell, which is a northern industrial suburb.

    Cheers

For my 101, I use Battalion Motors in Townsville Street Fyshwick. They are LPG experts and general mechanics.

I have not had an issue as yet.

Damn, you beat me too it. KarlB. Although I suspect you may only get a rubber one in Queenbeyan.

Are you sure you are not thinking of Fyshwick?

Black Betty - Paul White in Gungahlin may also be useful - he has done a lot of stuff for me over time.

Unless you feel the need to be totally reamed, punched, drilled & gnawed out by a rat, do not be tempted to take it over the pits at Dickson. The old ***** failed a vehicle there once because an errant drip of oil landed on his tie. He also failed my wifes car when we moved down from Sydney - "oil leaking around the timing cover" - so we took it to a mechanic, had the timing chain replaced at the same time as the gasket - all sorted - took it back - and were failed again because we hadn't power washed the oil off the engine.
