Wild weather around the 12 Apostles

We just got back from Port Campbell & the Touristy thing & I thought you would appreciate the pics of the rough seas. 100KPH winds.
I had to yell at the better half to be heard at point blank..
So for those who have been there on NICE days.....

    Thunder Cave

    Loch Ard Gorge

London Bridge the sea was boiling, pic doesn't really show it.

    Near Bay of Isles

Port Campbell Pier- We watched it for 15 min then decided no waves actually broke over the top. So out we go & got absolutely drenched by a rogue wave. Saw it coming but not quick enough. It splashed about 5m above the top level.

We were there in March, Port Campbell was like a millpond !! That's properly wild, must make an effort to go there this time next year.

We were there last week for the kids festival in Warrnambool. The kids wouldn't get out of the car. Too scary for them. WE stopped and had lunch in the car looking at that jetty and it did go under water fully when we were there! We ended up heading home to the snowfields where it is warmer!
